Re: Sciatica
I have had it since week 8. I stopped wearing my sexy high heels and take a hot shower before going to bed. I have found stretching exercises work great!

Re: Sciatica
Stretch, otherwise, there is nothing you can really do for it.
For me, sitting and resting makes it worse, I have to get up, walk around and stretch to make it ease up. Sometimes just stretching my back out side to side helps.
Feel better!

Re: Sciatica
I am in the process of trying to get a refferral for PT and they say that helps, the place also has massage therapists.
Mine is horrible at night, it paralizes me and I cannot even move either leg or get up out of bed!

Re: Sciatica
Go for a prenatal massage. I had BAD sciatica and it really helped.

Re: Sciatica
you can always try to go see a chiropractor or a massage therapist. I go weekly and its helped me tremendously!

Re: Sciatica
Mine started around week 7 I'm only 11 1/2 weeks and it's already pretty bad...
I see a chiropractor 2x a week, and I'm also going to try acupuncture next week.

Re: Sciatica
I'm 7w3d and mine started in as well. Yesterday was really bad and today is just as bad. I tried standing in the hot shower, but that really didn't work. Its funny, but I was going to post a message about the same thing today.

Re: Sciatica
if you get your OB's ok, try going to a chiropractor for the rest of your pregnancy.
