Girls Names...What do you think of....
Sasha?
FH loves this name and actually my dad just called out of the blue and said he saw this name in a magazine somewhere and liked it. I'm on the fence about it, but we can not agree on ANY girls names.....HELP!!!!

I like it. It can also be a nickname for Alexandra. I also really love Saskia.
Sasha isn't super common these days, which makes it even more desirable imo.

I like it but I tend to think of it as a guy's name because I knew a Sasha once. It means Alex in Russian (maybe Alexander?). Not that this should stop you.

I had a cat named Sasha for 20 years. It also sounds a bit *stripperish* to me. Sorry, JMHO.
I LOVE Isabella and Sophia though. Those were both on my list.

I like it a lot, it's my dad's name acutally, he's Alexander, but it is sasha in russian, and I love that name for a girl, I know a few sasha's that aren't russian, I think its an exotic name...

I have a lot of Russian/Ukranian students named Alexandra that go by Sasha. I prefer the former.

I like it! It's pretty and different and with the right middle name along with your last name....it could be awesome!
We cannot agree on a girls name either.
He wants Ella Jayne
I want Jocelyn.
Then DH threw in Chloe
And my dad threw in Rachel...and we came up with Faith as a middle name

I like sasha or alexandra...
but honestly, IMO these names are best for people of russian decent (or other slavic nationalities where the names could be common). I'm a bit wierd that way, since I'm german and DH is polish, Crouton's name will be german/polish...
for those who have been in this country for generations, it would make sense to have a more classically american name IMO....

You're so lucky your DH likes Chloe. It's my favorite girl's name and DH hates it.

This is what I thought too. One of my male cousins is Sasha but he lives in Croatia. If you like though it shouldn't matter.

my neighbor has a long haired red doxen that is named Sasha.. she really is the cutest thing! But thats what I think of when I hear this name.. its a pretty name though!!
