HELP ME!! with my hair
i am extremely picky about my hair....
i have long think straight hair- mid-lower back long,
i always wanted long layers where if i want to i can style it but i'm feeling lazy i can just wash it and let it air dry and still look good-
my hair is too boring striaght & long- all i do have it back in a ponytail- i'm freakin 28 yrs old- and still wear my hair like i'm in high school
highlights wouldnt be too bad either.... i have virgin hair though- i am so scared...
ps also i need a GREAT person to cut my hair!!
any ideas ladies

If you're worried about maintenance I wouldn't get highlights....they are a pain in the a** to maintain. I would get some layers put in your hair though...you can still keep it long but you're right...it needs a style. I don't live in LI so I can't recommend anyone, but have fun with it....a new haircut can do wonders for your spirit!

You have beautiful hair but I agree you want a style.. I would layer the bottom starting below your chin... You are going to have to take some length off!! are you ready for that?? I can recommend Larry from Aqua in Hewlett... He is the best hair dresser I know of.. Very well known probably the hottest shop on the south shore right now!!

I would put in long layers. I think that would look really good. You have gorgeous hair, so I wouldn't color or highlight it at all.

Totally agree, just cut youre hair,
I wouldnt start Highlights too much keep up. Once you highlight there is no going back ...

I agree. If you are willing to take off a considerable amount, I'd go with shoulder-length with long layers and angles starting at the chin. Very flattering, and definitely more of a style.

You can probably do anything with your hair and it will look good. You have beautiful hair. I think you should cut it in layers and angle it around your face. I highly recommend Connie at Aqua Salon in Hewlett, she is fantastic! I've been going there for years. Good Luck!

Connie left she is at Capalleni again in Hewlett on Broadway.. She is EXECELLENT also. So you have some choices!!!
