Especially LI IVF gals, do you get to listen to music during the ER/ET? Can you bring your ipod and does anyone feel like brainstorming on some songs to soothe the embies?

ER you will be asleep for. You cannot bring anything in with you because it has to be a sterile environment. They did have some nice soothing music playing in the OR when I went back for my ET.

Yea.. during the ER you are knocked out so I wouldnt think it would be necessary.
For the transfer... it is literally a ten minute thing and you'll want to watch and listen to the dr explain what is happening.

yeah I totally forgot about that part- duh. I don't know where my mind is. What happens after the transfer? Do they want you to lay there a while?

For ET you will have to have a full bladder. Once I was back in recovery I had to lay flat for 20 minutes before I was allowed to get up. If you can't wait the 20 minutes to relieve yourself they will bring you a bed pan. That's what I had to do after my first ET

Yeah, after ET its so hard to lay there for 20 minutes. I'm going to try to have full bladder this time, but not where I can't see straight. I don't know what I was thinking last time when I started drinking an hour before I got to office. They make you wait about 30-60 minutes in the office b/f you even go in (and I was the first of the day, what if their schedule was delayed). I was afraid if I let any out I was gonna have a gusher that was unstoppable
