I'm sure I'm in the minority...
but this new posting style is driving me nuts!!! When I see 'update' in a post- and then it's updated again- I can't tell who's responding to what update, or if I've responded to each update, etc... It's taking me longer to get thru the posts! I feel like such a dope ;) I like our old 50 million post system. No offense to anyone- but I just had share

Re: I'm sure I'm in the minority...
Oh good, b/c I saw a bunch of people read this and not respond so I figured the responses that were coming were not going to be in agreement. Not trying to cause drama- but I can't post that way w/ all the updates. I've tried - but I feel like I won't know if people are reading them and if so, if they're reading the whole thing, etc... Melijane's blog type post was an awesome idea- but for day to day things, I have to keep doing my 50 million posts... I don't do them every day so we can just average them out

Re: I'm sure I'm in the minority...
I think it became a suggestion for updates that has taken a different turn.
I think the initial conversation was not about updating your cycle, but updating when it is things like thread 1) got my meds today thread 2) put my meds in the fridge thread 3) what temperature should my fridge be at? thread 4.) Do I need to store my meds away from the white carbs in my fridge? will they work better stored next to green veggies?
But hey, if someone wants to post 100 times in the same day, then so be it. Like other posters have said post what you want, read what you want, reply to what you want, complain about what you want

so go back to your 50 million posts if that's what you want.
No one ever said it was a "rule" to have to update in one post - it was just what some people wanted because it is much easier to keep track of everyone's progress.

I know no one said it was a 'rule' but it seemed to be somewhat of a general concensus on the board (from the people that actually answered it).... so I was going to try to follow that guideline.... I'm just noticing that it's hard for ME to follow it- though when I do IVF, if I write often about it, I'll def. do it in a blog type form like Melijane did. I actually printed hers out and have it in my IVF notebook that i keep to try to learn about some of the stuff ahead of time.

Re: I'm sure I'm in the minority...
I think its the lots of little posts that make it harder.
I try to come on here as often as possible as a "graduate" and support people, plus I still deal with IF myself.
And Sometimes I cannot make it past the 1st page of posts and I feel bad when I cant....
I guess I will be honest and say I come here to help others with questions, concerns etc about IF, procedures, etc, but I dont come to see daily life details or that type of post. I feel that should be shared through FM with friends.
So when I am reading a post and I get details, like..and "then I had lunch here or there"...I tend to just click out of the post and not even read it, because I just dont have the time. I would rather answer someone elses questions and honestly I have so much going on in my own life, unless its a good friend, I simply dont care of have the mental capacity to care about that stuff, nor do I think anyone would care about me posting it either.
I tend to be honest and it comes out harsh, so for anyone who reads this, its not MEANT to be mean, not in ANY WAY, I just tell it how I see it and how I feel.
I dont begin to imagine ANYONE on here except my close friends care about what I did "before" my trigger, or on my way to the RE, so I get a bit annoyed when I read others telling it b/c Its taking my time from another post I could be answering.
Hope that made sense and didnt offend.
But I guess I dont in the end care who posts what.

I'll respect that. And thank you for your honesty. I know (and i mentioned it in the other thread) how hard it is for me going thru what I've gone thru for the length of time that I have... which seems like nothing compared to the length of time that others have been dealing with this. And for that, I have so much respect for those that come on here and continue to share your knowledge to help others!
