Personally, I thought she sounded a bit like Sinead O'Connor. The indie scene is buzzing over it. Honestly, it’s not bad.
You guys are rough If you think that’s bad, you should hear Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. The way he sings would make you all cringe (but I LOVE it  ) – this should make you all lay off ScarJo

That'so funny you say that. We saw it on - I think it was the Soup, maybe? - and they were making fun of the video, and though I didn't love the song, I thought at parts she sounded like Sinead as well.
