ok so if LIF society mirrors american society in any way then Cook should win tonight!  ...i hope.
if not, he'll still have an awesome career! like one poster said last night, Ruben Studdard is a perfect example of why winning the title means nothing. Clay Aiken has outsold him 10x over and has a far more successful career.
it might actually be good that Cook doesnt win though. cause then he wont have that "American Idol Winner" title that'll follow him around. look at Daughtry.
