Abercrombie

Alright, so every year at this time I will go to Abercrombie and get maybe two new pairs of shorts and some t-shirts. Well let me tell you the shorts from last year to this year has changed.

I picked out two denim shorts I liked went to the dressing room looked in the mirror and was likeChat Icon . These shorts that looked like a normal pair of cute denim shorts were literally up to my crotch!!!!! The inseam must have been 1/2-1inch. So I tried on the other pair same thing.

I was so upset, what upsets me even more is these shorts are actually selling and the parents out there are letting their girls go out with their @$$ cheeks hanging out.

So now I'm on a hunt for a new shorts brand!!!

I saw 4 or 5 YOUNG girls - maybe 15 tops walking in downtown Sayville on Saturday wearing those kind of shorts (with UGGS!). I can't believe their parents would let them leave the house like that. they almost look like bathing suit bottoms!

Re: Abercrombie

I was walking behind a girl in the city the other day

her shorts ended at her rear end

she kept pulling them down

it was not a good look- even on a young girl

Re: Abercrombie

Disgusting. As a parent (of a two year old), I would not but them for DD at 13, 14, 15, 16 , 17 or 18 yrs old...NOT EVER.

I would not care if my DD screamed that she hated me or whatever...I would NEVER buy that for her and if she bought them herself, I would make her return them. WHERE ARE THE PARENTS????? W T H??

Re: Abercrombie

I just marched my 10 1/2 year old out of Abercrombie Kids for the very same reason (I did let her buy a few t shirts). My husband will require life support if he sees her in those shorts.

I heard some teenage girls the other day talking about their booty shorts Chat Icon

My stepdaughter wears a pair and really, she shouldn't - she's not heavy but she has a big butt and wide hips - she wears them plain or sometimes with leggings. I think they look awful....

Re: Abercrombie

I went to Abercrombie and Hollister to buy some clothes for my daughter and couldn't believe how short the shorts were. She is only 11 but she is very tall and shapely - there is no way I would ever let her wear shorts that short. She doesn't even want them like that.

I ended up buying her clothes in Aeropostale. They had short shorts but they also had ones that were a little longer too.

I hear you, my FSIL, she is a senior in highschool. My in-laws are very strict with curfews, chores, going to church every sunday, the kids were never allowed to sleep past 9am. But FSIL walks around with these tight @$$ clothes on to the point because it's so tight skin bulges from her pants at the waist line or her @$$ cheeks hang out of her shorts. And I'm thinking to my self WHAT GOES ON!!!!! They are so strict about stupid crap, but don't say a word about the way she walks out of the house. And she isn't fat at all, she's 5'7'' very slim. I feel like saying something to her but don't quite have that degree of comfortableness.

My 11 yr old stepdaughter is the same way and she DOES wear them that short - I think she is all hung up on her looks and loves wearing them like that.....

My daughter is the complete opposite. She isn't even comfortable in little tanks or anything - which I'm happy about. She's 11 trapped in a 15/16 year-old's body.

Even for woman, the shorts are either cut all the way up your butt or they are frumpy. And trust me, nobody wants to see my sagging a$$.Chat Icon
