Karako Suits can kiss my A$$
My wedding is 2 weeks away and we ordered DH's wedding suit on 3/24 with the promise it would be done in 2 weeks...well here we are 5/15 and the manufacturer sent the wrong suit TWICE!!! They kept us in the dark until I FREAKED about it being over a month and then the manager got involved and we got the REAL story. So now (stb) DH has to have a bigger suit cut down to fit.  :bang
I sent my brother, father, uncle and a good friend of the family there and all of them bought suit packages for at least $350 plus the cost of alterations.
I told the manager of the store I don't see why I should have to pay for the alterations ($40) since we've been waiting for the suit for almost 2 months. He told me we would have to pay for them regardless and he cant take any money off the suit because it was part of the package deal and that he's not charging us to cut the bigger suit down  WHAT?! You mess up and you won't charge us for it?? Oh why THANK YOU!! I replied that the suit that was $ 84 will now cost be $130 so I don't see how I'm saving any money.  Meanwhile I'm screaming like a lunatic and the manager is screaming right back at me
I plan to call the General Manager and have a word with him. We had to push our engagement pics back 3 times because DH didn't have his suit.
I will NEVER set foot in that store again, nor will I EVER recommend them to anyone I know. They have horrible customer service and I'm completely disgusted with the way they chose to handle the whole situation.
Am I wrong for thinking that they should compensate me somehow for all the b.s that I've had to deal with?!

Wow that's really horrible. I can't believe they couldn't waive the alteration fee... that's just bad business.

Maybe you can just cancel your order and rent a suit or tux instead. I would hate to give them all of your business at this point

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet, I found a great suit and could not wait for alterations so I went to a taylor and had it done. The alterations cost 75 dollars more than the suit......
I have a 675 dollar, 300 dollar suit.
