Re: Does this make sense? My friend thinks she was drugged

It's not up to her to figure out what happened. Call the police department & ask them for advice.

Even if she never sees him again, I think she has a responsibility to tell someone with the background & experience to determine what happened. If action needs to be taken, it's the police's responsibility to do it.

I would call the police station, let them know and then ask if it would still be in her system. She could get checked out to see if she really was drugged.

He splits an allergy pill & she falls asleep? Not likely.

The other thing is...if he tried to force himself on her in the past....why would she have him over - and if she has any thoughts that he tried to drug her...having him over should NOT be an option.

ITA. Why would she let him in, and why would she drink with him again knowing he forced himself on her?

Would she press charges if the police do test it or her? If not, I don't think it's worth doing since it would be a waste of police time.

I just wanted to clarify...I'm not trying to blame the victim here. If he did something, he should be punished...but your friend needs to smarten up.

Hahah I knwo this.

He didn't rape her. That's why i asked if he came back inside. She said she won't go to the police bc nothing happened. She also said she swept whatever powder was left so her dog didn't get to it.

But how would she know if he came back inside? She didn't answer if the door was locked..she said she was falling asleep, not that she locked it.

Regardless of whether she was raped, it's still a crime to drug someone. For my own peace of mind, I'd want to know & would find out.

It's not too late. Rohypnol stays in the body for several hours, and can be detected in the urine up to 72 hours after taking it. GHB leaves the body in 12 hours. Source: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/rohypnol.htm

Note the part about the new Rohypnol, it dissolves more slowly & in chunks. In a dark drink it would look cloudy. In a light drink, it's starting to be made to turn the drink blue.

yikes. She should contact the cops. file a report and start an investigation. Paranoia is good sometimes.

her judgment is out the window though so she'd better get her story straight or no one will take her seriously.

Powder in the drink? Yeah, drugged for sure but she won't remember if she passed out if she was violated. Maybe she should go to the hospital and get a rape kit done and file a police report.

Ok I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, and i'm not trying to badmouth your friend, but why on earth if he's already tried to hook up with her and she was pushing him off her the other times would she let him come back again for more.

I don't know of any allergy pills that need to be split in half and leave that much residue. Also a lot of date rape drugs once theyre mixed in it doesn't leave a "noticable" trace/appearance in the glass so it may not have been one. If he did try to slip her something maybe it was something else maybe to make her "high" on the drug and more "ok" to his advances?Chat Icon

I hope she doesn't allow this to happen again or if she does invite him over to at least have a larger group of firends there as well. Just for her safety in case of anything.

Also some "slips" do turn drinks to a different color, did he put the drink in a glass that she would notice if it did change?
I'm afraid more if say he did slip her something that she would actually NOT have recollection of the events happening after this. So did he actually leave and did she LOCK the door behind him that night?
