Re: RACHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I am still alive! But apparently the city is in tatters! This morning, the commuters at Piccadilly train station were LITERALLY stepping over the Rangers supporters to get into the town centre. The police were completely unprepared for this. There were something like 13,000 tickets available to the Scottish supporters, and something like 150,000 turned up in the city centre, then the big screen in Piccadilly Gardens went faulty, and the crowd went CRAZY. I am glad I don’t work in town, they closed roads, stopped the Metrolink tram system….
But I am still standing. Last night it was all so exciting, until the Scots lost…

Re: RACHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is horrible...they give football fans a bad name. Now they have cancelled the big screens for the Man United match next week. Its a real shame... Chasing police

Re: RACHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's awful. just awful.
I wonder how this would have effected the Euro had England qualified.
I don't see how ANY of this correlates to being a "FAN"

Its interesting, the Rangers supporters are blaming Manchester City Council for this, they are saying that the council turned off the big screen and they wouldn't turn it back on. I can't see why on earth they would think they would do this. The Rangers supporters came to Manchester because it was a quick drive in the car, you know 3 hours down the motorway, anyone can do it. And the Mancs had really good feelings towards everyone coming, we put out the red carpet for them, but its always a few who have to go and spoil it for everyone else.
