Lack of energy?
I keep reading that in the second trimester I should be getting a burst of energy. Did you all find this was true? I am just about in the 2nd tri and am still totally exhausted. I hate feeling this way. It doesn't help that I am not working and am home all day. I can't seem to motivate myself and just want to sleep all day. Anyone else experience this?

I was like that until about 16 weeks. Now at 24 the energy levels seems to be slowing down again.

I woke up one day at 11 weeks and poof....just like that...my exhaustion was gone and I was myself again. Just wait for it, it will happen!

This entire pregnancy I have been
It went by so quickly b/c all I do is sleep. I keep hearing about this burst of energy but I am 37 week now..I do no think I am getting it!

I remember with my first pregnancy I did suddenly get a burst of energy but it did not happen right at the beginning of the 2nd trimester. I remember thinking when is this nausea going to stop and where is my energy. Then a little after 4 months it kicked in.
Now during this pregnancy I am 16 weeks pregnant I haven't exactly experienced a burst of energy yet. I have felt a little tinge here and there, but I am still feeling tired at times, and my nausea has not completely gone away.

i dragged myself around for weeks but once i hit week 14 i stopped vomiting and got my energy back. its different for everyone but i am sure you will start to feel good again soon.hang in there

I'm a little over 17 weeks and I'm still exhausted albeit no where as much as I was in my first trimester. Burst of energy though? Nah.

i didn't start feeling like myself again until about 17-18 weeks - but i still need a nap just about every day

I started feeling more energized at 14 weeks and now at 32 wks I am starting to drag a little again  Hang in there..

whoever said that is a liar! I was exhausted this whole pregnancy so far! Im still waiting for that burst of energy and I only have 2-3 weeks left of this til DD arrives!
