Dr. Hanauer ?
I just made an appointment to see her next month. I had to switch doc b/c my old one stopped taking my insurance, and that left me  b/c I've been going to him for years, and I had a rough pregnancy and medical issues. Anyway, does her office do the sonos in the same location? I'm not pg, but need to do sonos to check on size of my fibroids, and wouldn't want to go to a different location. My old doc office did all the sonos, blood work, etc in the same office. Thank you!

They do sonos and bloodwork in the office. Just be ready for a wait... they always were backed up when I was a patient of that group.

Yes, they do all sono's and bloodwork in the office, even the ultrascreen and Level II. I've actually never had to wait more than 15 minutes or so to be called in to see her.

love her, but bring a book. She's never on time, even if you have the first appt. of the day.

She never rushes anyone so she gets backed up.
They started bringing in Madonna Perinatal in to do the sonograms so you can get them done at the office.
When I had my son 3 years ago they didn't do this. I think that is great that they do this now.

I love her, but frankly, I can never get in to see her without waiting 2 months for an evening appt and then waiting in the waiting room an hour at least each time.
I may switch once I'm pregnant. I may have to see a high risk doc anyway.
Very frustrating.

I have never waited more than 15- 20 min. in her office. I always schedule morning or early afternoon appt's. Everytime I have called to make an appt I never had to wait long either.
Madonna Perinatal comes to her office a few days a week and all the sonograms are done right in the office,

All my sonos were at Madonna..she did 2 sonos in the office but they were quick ones. Any ones liek your describing I do not think will be done there. The in office sonos are not high tech at all.
I saw someone else say they do level 2 and ultrascreen there...This all must be something new. When I was there they did none of this.

Once I was pregnant and went for my visits, I hardly waited. I felt like I was admitted into a special club

They have Madonna coming in a few days a week now. This has happened since I had my son. I think that is good. She even said it is the 3D machine.
