MAC users....
I just got my first mac last night...I can already see why people like these over pc.....3 questions though:
how do I get to take those cool pics that everyone can alter and change with the funky colors and effects?
and how do I add favorties online?
I see where they go...but I don't know how to add them or take off the preloaded ones.
the url bar doesn't have an arrow where you can click to see your last visited sites...can I do that somehow?

Which browser are you using?
On Safari and Firefox to remove things from the bar at the top (It defaults to Apple, Yahoo, News, etc) just take the link and drag it into the trash can. To add to that bar, drag the URL to the bar. To add to normal favorites, hit the plus sign (directly to the left of the URL box). The FWD and Back buttons are all the way on the left. HTH ETA: If you mean you want to see your history, just click and hold on the "back" arrow.
I don't know if you can make show photos in iPhoto. the closest would be to just adjust the color balance.

Do you mean when transferring pictures? It should happen automatically if you turn on the camera and plug it in via USB. It should come right up to transfer pictures. Try doing it with iPhoto NOT open when you put the camera in. I've never had a problem with this. DOn't worry about what the camera.
Or do you mean the webcam? I have NO idea. I have an iBook. No camera.

You mean the pics of yourself through the built in camera?
High light the ones you don't want and click on delete.
The arrow on the top left and show be the first icons..

With Photobooth. I love playing around in there - makes me LOL and definitely helps de-stress

wow! well, in my defense - it was capped in the title of the thread hahaha  then i'm like "i see why people like it so much over pc" - i'm thinking "pharmacy crap??" make-up they sell in CVS??? LOL!!!!!!!
