2 yellow labs were lost on our street
omg, on saturday night my heart just broke.. 2 yellow labs who were obviously from the same owner were sooo lost  they ran up to us when we got out of our car.. we looked at the collars and no tags or anything.. they were crying too so we put them in our yard to make sure they wouldnt wander onto the busy rd. my husband took a drive to see if people were looking around for dogs.. we held them for 2 hrs , gave them food, water. then finally we put them on leashes and just hung out in front of our house.. the owner finally came driving by spotting her dogs.. she was visibly worried and upset .. she had said the landscaper forgot to close the gate so they ran out .
but it made me so happy that we held on to them and waited as long as possible to call the SPCA.. glad the owner came before we did

aw! i am glad the owner found them, you guys did the right thing
Maybe she will put tags on the dogs now. Yellow labs! Someone would scoop those dogs up in a second and keep them!

yea she said she was going to buy tags for them the next day.. hopefully she did.. and they were the CUTEST dogs.. i wish we could have kept them..lol

This was a happy ending--but not all of them are---I never take my dogs collar off--how long does it take to buy a tag and put it on there collar--pets can not speak to tell you where they live--SO PLEASE PUT TAGS ON YOUR PETS-IT WILL SAVE ALOT OF OWENS FROM BEING HEART BROKEN
