Anyone not meet a deadline for work?

I have been working on a project for the past 3 months. The deadline is tomorrow. I have worked on it all weekend (am working now when I should be spending time with my Mom ).

Short of pulling an all nighter tonight, I am probably not going to make this deadine tomorrow.

I just feel so bad about it. And it is my own fault because I should've delegated some of this to other people. I thought I could handle it all myself. Live and learn, right?

I'd probably pull the all-nighter if it's important to have it done by tomorrow, to avoid a conversation about not managing the time throughout the 3 months well. Good luck, that stinks.

I missed a deadline last week, it was set for me by my project manager and I only got about 3/4 of the document finished. The deadline was on Friday and Thursday afternoon I told her I was struggling with finishing it.

Friday I didn't mention it and hoped she didn't remember. She did. Now I have Tonsillitis and will probably be out of the office for a few more days. Lucky for me the implications of me not finishing it are not going to affect anyone else.

But best to be honest and try your best to do as much as you can. Don't do what I did...not mention it and hope your boss doesn't remember. It doesn't work.
