New Job Clothes

I start a new job next week, and right now I work for a not-for-profit...and basically can wear jeans everyday because I am on construction sites. The new job, construction as well, but its a higher level, I cannot wear jeans....I need some work ideas, business casual, I guess, but professional at the same time....Any ideas where I should start shopping? Ann Taylor Loft? BR? I am a Project Manager so I will have to met w/ Community Boards, contractors, etc....I want to look presentable but not stuffy...Any ideas?

Sounds like business casual to me. How about: Bananna, AT loft, Ny and Co, Limited, Gap, Old Navy?

I would even check JC Penney, TJ Maxx, Marshalls has some really nice business casual stuff. Definitely get yourself some nice flats if you are going to be on site.

Re: New Job Clothes

i get most of my work clothes at BR. I think finding good pants is the hardest part - once you find your perfect pair, i recommend buying them in a few colors.
