Engagement Party outfit
I bought a black dress with a white abstract plaid-like pattern on it.
Would black pumps be too boring with it?
The party is tonight and the only stores in the area that I can visit on lunch are Kohls, Mandee and Target. I have black patent peep toe pumps at home, but I was thinking I should brighten it up with some color.
Any ideas?
This is the same dress in a different color/pattern if it will help

you could get a fun color- yellow, teal, red to mix it up alittle
or the black would be fine -

I think you are ok with the shoes you have but maybe at a red large bead necklace. I know target usually has stuff like that

Colored show would be cute, if you want to go shopping, but I think the black patent peep toe would be great as well.

IMO - i would def do the black heels and use an accessory for the PUNCH of color your looking for.
get a turquoise bracelet - a big chinky one
or a really prominent necklace.
or a fun colored clutch
or big earrings (my fave thing)
esp. w/ the weather being so crummy tonight - i woudl stick w/ the black shoes.
mandee has ton of costume jewelry - youll def find something there.

I agree- it will probably be easier to find colorful jewellery in those stores than it wil be to find shoes.
