Bed, Bath and Beyond sues groomer
Did anyone else hear about this? There is a pet groomer in Ronkonkoma who named his store "Bark, Bath and Beyond". He got a letter in mail from Bed, Bath and Beyond stating that he needs to change the name or they will pursue legal action against him!  How much do you think this guy is really jeopardizing BBandB??? I am totally boycotting them!

Doesn't really matter, they have to protect their trademark, otherwise they risk its dilution. I'm mean the guy is obviously intending to play on the Bed, Bath and Beyond name. Now if they sued for damages, rather than just an injunction, I'd think that was too much.

hmm there is a place near us called Groomingdale's - is Bloomy's going to sue them, i wonder?? then, there is BARK avenue - is the city of new york going to send a nasty letter?
i just think these things are so silly sometimes - i understand the reasoning for it but it seems ridiculous at the same time.

ITA with this - if they let him keep his name, who knows who else will try to open a business with another variation?

I heard this on News12 yesterday. I actually live in Ronkonkoma and pass this groomer every night on my way home. I've always said how surprised I am that Bed, Bath and Beyond let them use that name!!

OMG I am LMAO at that...too funny!!! Yes, but anyway, I heard that if he goes to court, he will probably win because it's a parody (sp?) of the name.
