Hemingways for a Baby Shower

I'm helping my sisters with my shower. I went to Hemingways yesterday to check it out. The place is really nice inside and the menu sounds good. The price per person is reasonable too, $25 pp. But my shower will be on the small side 20-25 and they can't guarantee the room upstairs. HAs any1 had a shower in that small room in the front of the restaurant. I think it might be a little cramped. Can they move the tables? Where would the gifts go?

i think that if they take away the round tables on the one side and line up square tables on either side of that room, you will be fine. i think all the gifts could go on one of the tables.

it shouldn't be too tight of a squeeze for 20-25 people. hemingway's is an awesome restaurant - enjoy!!

thanks for your response. Don't think it will work out thought. I just called and the lady on the phone said it probably would not be very comfortable. And since we are so late their dates arent looking too good. I def need to go eat there though.

I had both of my kid's christening parties in the small room in the front. The first party was just under 30, I think the 2nd was closer to 35. We fit fine and we still hear from a couple people about how good the food was. It worked out better anyway b/c my grandmother has a hard time walking so she didn't have to do any stairs and there was a bathroom on that level they let her use.
