Today is going to be a challenge!
I need to get an IUI today, but MIL is still in town. Now, for the last two IUI's I was able to get her out of the house so DH could do his "thing" by telling my DD to ask her to walk with us to school in the beautiful sunny weather.
Um, yeah, it's raining today. I doubt she'll be inclined to walk with us to school in the rain.
How the hell do I entice MIL to get out of the house from 8:30-8:45am?
Ideas PLEASE!!!

why does she have to be out of the house? I would just have DH go in another room with the door closed, tell her he has a headache and needs to lie down for 20 minutes.

He's REALLY gunshy with his mom around. I doubt he'll be able to perform if he knows she's in the house. Whenever we did an IUI before he would send me and DD out of the house as well!

How about spilling out all your milk and asking her to run to the store to get some while you get DD ready for schoo?

Or ask her to take DD to school because you arent feeling well or have to run an errand etc

I told MIL that Dh needed to make an important phone call so I had to take DD out of the house, and asked her to come with us to get some cookies at the bakery - I mean, really, what woman would refuse the enticement of a fresh bakery baked cookie? 
I had my ultrasound at the RE's office which showed the follicle collapsed, which means my little eggie is probably floating inside of me somewhere as I type, and which also means we timed the IUI's perfectly  
And sooooo, the 2ww begins!

I needed a mental break from the medicated, dysfunctional madness of Clomid, so this cycle is unmedicated. If it doesn't work, we'll probably try a higher dose of Clomid next cycle. We'll see...
