Are you going back to work with MTV? I remember your sister telling us all the celeb. gossip. If you are, you have to keep me updated with Nick & Jess stuff....I love her.

You'll be ok... it's hard, I know, I burst out crying everytime I drop off Alex, but when I come at the end of the day to pick her up, she flashes me the biggest, sweetest smile, and it gets easier everyday because I know she's in such good hands. In the beginning I felt the same - awful that my little baby would be spending so much time with strangers. But, I made an effort to stop by unannounced during the first few weeks, and I got to know them better, so now I feel better leaving her. Maybe you can make a few visits to her in the beginning?

Thanks Beth...I know it will get easier...I just hate that I have to drop her off in the morning...and Jay gets to pick her up
It's the worst dropping them off... but it will get better once she starts recognizing the workers and the environment. For the first few weeks when I dropped Alex off she would zone out a little. I think she was overwhelmed. But, for example, today when I dropped her off, two of the workers took her and put her on a blankie on the floor and started tickling her belly and she started smiling and laughing. I left knowing she was going to be ok. Me, on the other hand, well that's another story!
