Major Computer Help - Windows 2000 NT
someone here at work is working on Windows2000NT....he used to login with:
BarbaraXYZ
pswd: 123
he restarted the PC just now, and it says "Admistrator"
We don't know what the BarbaraXYZ is (was someone's last name) - and now cannot log into the PC...
Is there anyway to go around this and get into Windows?

Can an administrator still get in? If so, you should be able to see the profile name of the users who have logged in.

Windows is VERY easy to break into, so as a later resort, you could break into it, and get reset the Admin account. You could also take the hard drive out and make it a slave on a different machine. Browsing through the user profiles on the hard drive will give you the user name.

I just opened the back up and took the battery out, waited 30 seconds and put it back in....worked!
the password was reset to "password"
