update on my dizziness..

My OB wanted me to come in today to talk about this dizziness episode I had last week where I nearly blacked out and leaned myself on my bedroom wall to prevent myself from losing my balance and falling on my belly. It was very scary and she told me to follow up with my cardiologist since I have a mitral valve prolapse regurge. So, I went to my cardiologist right after the OB appt.. and he said it seems to be related to my heart and he wants me to go back on my heart medication which i havent been on for 2 years! He called my OB and she said it sounds fine with her but that she needs to contact my OB Specialist to see if she agrees to it (this was the only reason for me seeing the ob specialist in the first place). The cardiologist mentioned how the side effect would be a slow labor process.. but i told him these are the reasons why I opted for a c-section anyway, was b/c of my heart, so I guess it all works out. I just really hope this dizziness goes away and my dr. doesnt recommend me driving until this whole thing gets straightened out. What a day.. oy.

Ugh, that sucks, I'm so sorry! But I hope it works itself out, it seems that the you have everything basically figured out which is good!
