I am glad you are still going with out her - I am sure you will have a blast!
Honestly, I wouldn't voluntarily spend time with people I don't lke either. But I would never blow off a party best friend was making because of other people.

wow - i would never do that to my friend - no matter WHAT problems i had with another person - even if that particular person did something wrong TO me - for the good of my friend (the person in the middle - you in this case) i would go no matter what - especially if my friend REALLY wanted me to go. i'm sorry - that stinks. in the long run - you are better off going w/o her.

I have a couple of people that I refuse to be around so I'm going to play devil's advocate. Wouldn't you rather your friend be honest with you and not spend time with someone who makes her feel uncomfortable? She won't have a good time and it'll just put a damper on your night anyway. It's not that she doesn't want to go with you. Try not to be too upset, you can do other things with her.

I can totally relate with your friend. Two of my good friends are friends with a girl who cannot stand me. She literally will not talk to me.
I have gone to countless parties with her there cause I don't want to make my friends have to deal with the whole thing. But then I am completely uncomfortable the whole time...Everytime I come home from those situations I say I am never doing it again.
Honestly though I'd suck it up for NKOTB, its a concert its not like a house party that I was at where I had to talk to the girl who hated me. Even though she did not talk to me at all!
