Pregnancy Yoga
DOes anyone know of any places that offer this around the south shore of western suffolk? Also, do you know how much it is? THanks!

Actually, I heard the oppoistte. All of the girls from my yoga class had quick easy natural deliveries.
And if you look at the exercises they teach in the birth classes, they are actually yoga poses.
I go in St. James... if that is not too far for you FM me! I feel great after class and it has kept me very flexible! I'm still going at 38 weeks.

I live in Chicago so I can't recommend a location. But, I wanted to add that it is awesome! It has kept me so limber and flexible and helped keep my core strong. All of the squatting and various positions help you to stretch and can decrease the need for an episiotomy. My OB was thrilled when she heard I take it and asks at every appointment if I'm still going. And at my hospital class they talked about breathing techniques and many were from yoga.
