May mommies to be...
I was just looking at the expecting list and I noticed that a lot of us are on team green. The next few weeks are going to be so exciting to hear what we all had. And of course it will be exciting for those that know also. Is everyone ready? Do you have your bags packed and ready to go?

I packed my bags last weekend. Almost all of the baby stuff is taken care of. His room is done, all the laundry is done, carseat is installed. We are meeting the pediatrician on Monday.
I still don't feel ready though  I am going through a hard time at work. I am going to be working until the day the baby is born, even if I am 2 weeks late. It is also coming up to midterm time for my 2 masters classes. I have a long paper and take home test due Monday so I had to take MOn off work to get this done. I think I am in denial that the baby is on his way soon!

 will be here in 2 weeks and I still have to:
clean out the car and install the car seat
pack my hospital bag
find a pediatrician
buy a bouncy seat
get some food in the house 
clean out the guest room so my parents can come visit.
I am sure there is tons more I should be doing

I'm as ready as I'll be!! The nursery is all set, everything is put together and washed, the car seat is in and inspected! I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting!!

I am sooo not ready! My due date is in 3 weeks and we still have to:
clean out my car and install car seat
finish nursery - moldings, blinds, put in the closet doors, etc.
wash all baby stuff
do shower thank-yous
pack my hospital bag
I know which ped I want to use, but I have to set up an appt to meet them
I know there's tons more I just can't think of right now -

I am not ready! I'm due in 3 weeks. I went to the store today to get the rest of the hospital bag things I needed. I will pack it tomorrow.
We still need:
furniture to arrive!! 
install car seat
have car seat inspected
organize room/unpack shower gifts
??? I'm sure there is more!

I am going on Friday. I have to finish packing. Wash the last of the blankets and the cushions for the swing and bouncy chair. I have to put the bedding back on the crib and the mobile. We have the base in the car and the pack and play went back up today and I have to wash all the bottles and probably buy some more nipples. I just want to know if this is a boy or girl already.

I feel like I am doing alot but still have so much to do. The car seat needs to be installed and the hospital bag needs to be packed. The furniture finally came yesterday so at least thats done.
Jamie - you wrote you washed the cushions on the swing and bouncy seat. Should that be done before first use?

I didn't with my daughter, but this is for baby number 2 and they have been in the attic for almost 2 years-- YUCK. So it's just my preference to wash them. But like I said I didn't with my daughter.

This weekend we cleaned the car and installed the car seat, packed the hospital bag, and cleaned the house from top to bottom
I cant wait
