What does it mean
when the dr says they can feel the babies head during an internal exam?

i think that if your cervix has thinnned out enough (effaced) and the baby's head has decended, they can feel the baby's head pretty easily during an internal.
i can't believe you are almsot there - good luck these last two weeks!!

I had to have a second strep B done, I had one at 22 weeks, because preterm labor, and another one today, and as he is swabbing " well while I am in here I might as well check to see how things are progressing"

I was having pre term labor 2 weeks ago at 33 weeks and the doctor did an internal, she said she felt the baby's head also which means the baby is descending and is in position.

OMG PIMP!!!! This was totally my OB on tues. After she finished 'swabbing' ( ) she's like, "Eh- lemmie check you while I'm here". My response was, "Sure- might as well. I'm already open" She got a kick out of that Hey, why not have a sense of humor about it all?
