[2 weeks ago, friday, approx 5pm]
me: Rich, you should really pull out your suit...see if it needs to be dry cleaned/hemmed/etc before the 7th
R: ok no prob
[3 days later]
me: Hey, how's the suit?
R: I'll get to it later
:::::fast forward to LAST NIGHT:::::
R: Hey Nic, have you seen my suit? I'm not sure where it is.
me: Hmmm....your CLOSET?!?! (Yep, it was right there)
R: OK, thanks.
.........5 minutes later............
R: Nic, what time is Penny's open til?
me: WHY, RICH?!?!
R: I, uh, kinda, uh....need a new suit. I got fat.
He CAN'T buy a suit off the rack - he needs BIG suits and tailoring...OMG I'm gonna kill him.

This is my dh TOTALLY!
And we went through the same thing this week, we are going to a wedding in 3 hours. I am waiting for him to try and get dressed to tell me his suit doesn't fit becuae he refused to try it on!

I've had the same conversation with DH 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago and yesterday. The wedding is next Saturday. We'll see when he decides to try his suit on.

LOL...My dh pulled this an hour before we had to leave for a wedding back in Aug..that was the only time.
My DAD is popular for this..LOL

Thats why I have to take out DHs suit, shirt and shoes like 3 weeks before to make sure its going to be okay - I hate when they pull this stuff!!!!!!

Just for future reference, Syms in Commack-buy a suit for about 200 and they can do alterations in about 2-3 hrs if you're in a rush-DH has done this 3 times!!!

Been their many times. It's a guy thing.
It even happened on my wedding day. The best man's shirt didnt fit around his neck. I had the limo driver running to the cleaners to get a collar extender.
It's definatly a guy thing
