When you disagree with someone.......
In real life....(not on the internet) do you fight them on it? Or do you just let it go? Obviously it is easier to try and prove your point on a site like this when you dont have to talk over someone or actually "see" them......depending on the topic I like to state my opinion, however when it comes to politics and some controversial issues i hardly argue just not worth it to me

I may have a friendly debate, but sometimes you just have to agree to disagree. You are not always going to see eye to eye with everyone on everything and in most cases, it's not worth losing friends over.
ETA: The only time I get really frustrated in these situations is when people are arguing or debating and haven't educated themselves on the topic and just pull $hit out of their a$$es.

i definitely debate people "online" more than i do IRL. i think it may just be because that is sometimes what this website is for - to discuss topics and debate, depending on your perspective. IRL, it's often just a matter of stating your opinion.
however, my DH doesn't discriminate - he loves to tell people he's right and list the reasons why

Depends upon the situation and the topic...but I will if it is something I feel strongly about. (I tend to debate more if I know the person, honestly, doesnt know what they are talking about )

if it's something i really feel strongly about, i will speak up. however there are some cases when it's better to just walk away
