Anyone elses DH's go away for work?
DH had to go to Albany for work left Sunday night and was supposed to be back on Monday night. Well now that got postponed till Wednesday night. So hes stuck there till tomorrow night. I just hate it when hes away. Dont know if its sappy or not but I feel like a part of me is gone when hes not here. Everyone is like oh enjoy yourself while hes not there! Yeah right! No Thanks, Id rather him here to enjoy each others company!  Just me and the 2 puppies and  on the way!

my DH will start travelling for work next month. I really don't like the idea, and I too feel like a part of me will be missing  it makes it harder that we are expecting our little one

Yes, DH goes back to NY about once every 2 months for a few days. I am with you--I really DON'T enjoy when he's not here. I actually find that I'm a little on edge, because a big part of me is missing! 
At least he'll be home soon!!!

My husband travels every six weeks. He usually goes to Finland or Germany. He is taking his last trip next week and then he won't travel for a few months after the baby is born. I don't want him in another country if I got into labor early.

This is something I deal with too and I know my DH wants a promotion that could potentially equate to more travel. I don't like it, but I know that he loves what he does for work and he's providing for our family the best way he knows how. So as much as I miss him when he's gone, I know it's for the best interest of our family. I too travel from time to time for work and he will be alone with the baby when he/she comes and I have to leave for a week or 2 here and there - I know he misses me and it's hard, but it makes us appreciate eachother so much when we reunite and we want to install the computer cameras so that we can see the baby and eachother when we are away. Hang in there, I know it stinks! I not only feel part of me is gone, but I can't sleep for anything b/c I hear every little sound and think "is someone trying to get in?"

yup, Al travels fairly often. Sometimes he's gone a few days a week and other times he won't go anywhere for weeks at a time.
With 4 weeks left to go, I think I'm going to ground him soon...
