Wii alert at Commack Target
I was in Target at 5:15pm, and there were 3 Wii systems on the shelf.
It's the Target in Commack, on Rt 454, just south of Jericho Tpke.

Same here. DH wants it. I'm hestitant to tell him about this post..LOL...I'll probably end up telling him. We;ll see.

400? where do you people make up these numbers from...
Its 250 plus tax for retail price...
Once you get one, buy Wii Play which cost 50 and will get you a game and controller.
Xbox 360 (preminum) and PS3 cost 400 bucks alone 
I for one have been enjoying the heck out of this system from day 1

that is how it was a Christmas time, when family members bought all the things needed. At least that is what I was told. And when my DH looked into it months ago - he was told the same thing. That is why I said $400

Every store it seems has tons of them this week on special for $249 (or maybe that is reg price) since Mario Cart came out, and stores want both in stock for customers.
Best Buy, Target, Toy R Us, etc all have them!

I found ours on Christmas Eve and paid $249. However, once you but the second remote, a game, etc, it could hit 400 really fast.

I saw you coming, that's why I ducked out when I did....  
j/k... I'm sure there are several LIF people that I pass by in stores, but I am horrible with names and faces, so I wouldn't recognize most people, even if they came up to me and started talking....

Why would they? It's selling so well and it's already the cheapest!
I think I paid $350 for a bundle with Wii Play and the extra controller and Mario Party 8.

we just got one for my MIL and FIL, its hystercial, there 60 and they invite people over ot have bowling tournaments!! 
its a lot of fun!
they have the right idea with it, releasing only a few at a time

I think the 400 dollar reference is because of many retailers wonderful tactics to sell Wii's. Most places make you buy a bundle to get the Wii Online. You have to buy typically three games with these so called bundles. It annoys me because they make you take things you don't want to get the system. I haven't seen many retailers allow you to just purchase a Wii without a bundle.
