anyone know of...
a good website to find apartments/housing upstate new york?
i already tried craigslist and it doesnt zone in to the hudson valley much, and thats the area we need to start looking for something temporary...

thanks for all the info - maybe we will contact her regarding a house - we are just looking for an appartment so we dont rush into anything too fast, get an idea of the areas, etc.. first.

Where upstate? If it's Westchester/Putnam/Dutchess, Houlihan Lawrence is a good site to visit.

How about the town newspaper of the town where you are moving? I lived in Poughkeepsie for years and the Poughkeepsie Journal had tons of listings for apts. and real estate. If you go visit the area, pick up any free newspaper (weekly penny saver type papers)--they always have listings too.
