RIP LCPL Jordan Haerter
Well, Jordan was finally laid to rest today. It just sucks it was such a nasty, dreary day. I did not know him personally, but the outpouring of love & support from everyone & especially my hometown-Sag Harbor-has touched my heart like nothing else ever has. In the past 12 months, our town has lost 3 young people---under the age of 20...1 was still in school & 2 had graduated from Pierson in the past 2 years....
I have been reading Newsday online & looking at the pictures in between the tears I have shed for him.
This young man is a Hero. H E R O
Rest in Peace, Jordan. You are loved more than you will ever know, by people you have never met.

Rain is good luck. Think of it that way.
A few friends and my niece is over there. Honestly I get so nervous when they say another local.
I cry when I see things like this..it makes me think "What if"
He died fighting for our freedom.... There aren't enough thanks out there for him.
He will FOREVER be remembered.
