Spinoff to Kathleen's beach question - Can someone explain them to me?
A little background - I grew up in Queens and I went to Jones Beach. DH grew up on the South Shore and belonged to a beach club in Atlantic Beach most of his whole life until a year ago when we bought our house and gave it up. I can't convince him to go to Jones Beach, he refuses. Can someone explain the others to me please? I am a Town of Oyster Bay resident.
What is TOBAY? Where should I go?

I am also a TOB resident. TOBAY is a beach on the south shore that is only open to residents of the TOB with a parking pass you get. Very small and family oriented beach.
I get the beach sticker every year (I think it was $35 or $40 last summer) and I go to the very tiny beach at Theodore Roosevelt Beach in Oyster Bay - just because I am right near there and Tobay is so far!

Go to TOBAY!
I grew up there and the beach was wonderful. My Brother and two nephews are life guards there.
