Does anyone remember Patrick Dorismond ?

I couldn't help but think of him today when I was watching coverage of the Sean Bell verdict. Living in NYC when Giuliani was mayor, I remember the conflict, and his reaction vividly. I can't help but think that Mayor Bloomberg handled this very well, and that if Rudy were still in office, things may have been different.

I don't want to start any drama, I'm just curious if anyone else has...not made the connection, necessarily, but been grateful for a more diplomatic mayor, maybe?
