Has anyone used a D.O.
Has anyone used a D.O. for pregnancy rather than an MD? What is the difference? What was your experience like? (DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHY)

I am not using as my doctor during pregnancy, but my regular PCP is a D.O and honestly I never even realized it until one day at the office I saw a sign that explained the difference between MD and DO and then I saw in the insurance book that it said DO after his name. Honestly he didn't do anything any differently than an MD (that I noticed)

My OBGYN is a D.O. and honestly I don't know what the difference is. He's great!

My OBs are all DOs and when I looked it up online, there are not many differences. MD is a doctor of medicine, while a DO is a doctor of osteopathic medicine. Here is a link that gives you a quick summary:

usually not a big difference, are the board certified?
do they use FACOG after their name or in their stationary could help you tell
