Dear Maternal Matriarchs,
You have given me greatand healthy hair and a great complexion. For that I am truly grateful. But you have also given me the most lovely set of varicose veins. My legs now look like a road atlas. Thanks ladies. I appreciate it.

i have inherited my mother and my grandmother's varicose veins (some i've had since i was 13  ) but i am hoping i will avoid that preggo symptom they both so deftly sidestepped - hemmies!!
