Busy day!
Well, I had my 36 week appointment this morning. The nurse did the strep B test - it was nothing - she did a quick swab front to back and that was it. I talked to the dr. about my swollen feet and hands, and she said since my blood pressure & urine were both good, it was just normal swelling and to keep my feet elevated when I can. I also mentioned to her - TMI - that I'm getting a lot of watery discharge. She wanted to check me out just to be on the safe side. So - I guess this qualifies as my first internal! I have to say it was sooooo uncomfortable!! Borderline painful, actually. On the up side, though, everything was fine, it wasn't amniotic fluid. She also said she thinks the baby is head down! Monday I go for my growth sono - can't wait for that!
Then, today was my work shower - very nice - they had wraps and salad and cookies and cake. We got some really cute things, plus a BRU gift card from the whole department.
