In a way.. I guess it was better than him driving around in the car with them ...high - or even doing something worse to them.

It's absolutely terrible, what a disgrace!! And Brentwood to Patchogue is no short trip, that he was under the influence of drugs!!! I'm glad the kids are ok, it could've been much, much worse. 
As an aside, it outrages me that these are the only types of people from Brentwood to ever make the news. There are GOOD people who live there too.
