Do any of you know how to keep white laundry white? I don't know if it's the water or what, but I use ultimate care clorox bleach on our whites and within a few washes the clothes are grey or dingy looking. I've tried regular clorox which turned the clothes a yellowish color, not using bleach at all, and yellow-out laundry soap. No luck so far...any suggestions, I sick of throwing out DH's white t-shirts 2 months after buying them.

we put a scoop of baking soda in with every load of white wash. My housekeeper swears by this and it WORKS! The clothes come out very bright and white. She also uses oxy clean.

Buy the big bag at Costco/BJ's. You'll save on it. Chat Icon and we don't need to use bleach. Chat Icon

yeah, oxyclean is golden... in my hands, the powder works best. The liquid detergents with oxy don't seem to do much for me...

I put a full scoop in with every load of whites (warm water).

Same here. Usually the shirts turn yellow because of deodorant!
