How to curl hair????
I have very thick, soft, fine straight long hair and it is VERY difficult to have curls stay in longer than an hour after i use a curling iron. I just had my hair done in a partial up-do and the whole thing just fell out( i had it done about an hour and a half ago). Is there any type of special hair iron or hair gel that i can use? Any tricks? I need my hair in curls for a wedding in two months!

Re: How to curl hair????
There are a number of ways to help it stay.
1. Spray your hair lightly with hairspray and then curl your hair with a curling iron. once it's curled, then pincurl it and put a bobby pin. Wait until your make-up is done and your hair has cooled down and then take themout nad re-spray them a bit.
2. Hot curlers. Put them in while their hot and do not remove them until they have cooled.
3. Use a flat iron. Yes, a flat iron. Flat iron it through to the end and then hold it closed, turn it like you would a curling iron. You can then pin curl it and bobby pin it.
Have you thought about going to the salon and having your hair washed and set? If so, make sure they put mousse in your hair beforehand, this will hold the curl without it being too stiff.
Good lucK!

Re: How to curl hair????
Lots of aerosol hairspray always make my updos stay. It doesn't feel great to touch, but those curls last forever!
Hot curlers always last longer in my hair than the curling iron.

Don't use conditioner in your hair!
