Need advice-Belly Bumped in the hallway-UPDATE
I was walking to a meeting with my coworkers and this girl bumps my belly hard trying to get into the elevators before the doors shut. It actually hurt and I was too stunned to react. She actually hit my hand with my spiral notebook which is what slammed into my belly.
Should I call the doctor? I have felt her give me some strongs kicks after the above happened, but what if something detached or something in there? Ughhh I am so mad at this chick, I have no idea who she is which is a good thing right now.
UPDATE*******
So my DH made me call the OB and the OB asked me to come in to L&D right away.  The lady had run into my belly pretty hard so the area was still sore and when they did the sono they saw the place she hit me was also where my placenta was, which worried my doctor. They did a thorough sono and had me hooked up the monitors for a few hours, then the doc came in and checked my cervix which was FAR up high, lol. Overall everything looked good, but she put me on bedrest today.

I think you and baby are fine, there is a lot of protection in there, but if it would make you feel better to call your dr then do it. It stinks to sit around and wonder what if all day.

Me too! I'm like a mother lion taking care of her cub when I'm pregnant. I used to go nuts on people who got rough and KNEW I was noticeably pregnant and still tried to push me around. UGH.

People are so inconsiderate.......but hey, at least she caught her elevator!!  So rude!!! I'm sure you're okay, like everyone said, the baby is well protected in there but if you're concerned it can never hurt to check with your OB. Feel better.

Glad you're okay and it's good that you called your OB. It will give you peace of mind otherwise you would have been going nuts with worry. I still cannot believe that person did that to you, such horrible manners. People can be awful sometimes. Hope you're feeling better.
