Question about labor
During labor and right before labor did you still feel the baby moving?

Re: Question about labor
I didn't feel Isabella a ton the night before I had her, so my doctor gave me a sonogram. The day I had her, I felt her a bit, but then all I could really feel were contractions. It seems like she was slowing down.

Re: Question about labor
I felt my baby moving between contractions initially, but once the pain intensified I was more focused on the contractions and less on movement. I knew the baby was okay only because of the fetal monitor. I noticed that the heartrate usually slowed down a little during contractions and then picked back up again after a contraction ends.

Re: Question about labor
Not that I can remember. But I was kind of freaked out once I realized I was going to have a baby - so I was in a big blur. I did, however, wake up that morning with a "feeling" that something was going to happen that day.

Re: Question about labor
I felt her moving while I was in labor. Between her and the contractions it was a lot of fun (My epidural didn't completely work)

Re: Question about labor
I didn't feel either baby move during active labor, but in early labor I felt them moving.

Re: Question about labor
I really don't remember feeling him move at all during labor. Then again, I wasn't really focused on that because I was distracted from the pain, and because I was hooked up to the baby monitor so I could hear the heartbeat and wasn't worried.

Re: Question about labor
I felt Ryan moving the whole time. When he moved during a contraction it made the pain 100x worse.

I too did not feel DD the day I was in labor. it made me nervous. When I got to the hospital and they put me on the monitor they said she was handling them great. Then I felt better since I was worried that she was not moving as much

Re: Question about labor
Sorry to hijack - again (why am I hanging out so much on pregnancy this morning??? )
On Cailen's due date, I had an internal. The night before I hardly felt him move and cried myself to sleep I was so worried. At the dr, I told her how I wasn't feeling the baby move, and she said that she heard the heartbeat, don't worry, everything is fine, and come back next week...
I wouldn't leave. she finally did a sono and saw I had low fluid and he couldn't really move around so much... Now that you are so close to labor, pay close attention to anything different and never feel awkward about having the dr. check on it!!!
