Need help with Dell Computer, Please!
I want to get my computer back to the original specifications it was when we first purchased it.
I have done this before but do NOT remember for the life of me where to find out how to do it.
Can anyone help?

you will lose all your data by doing this...
locate your restore cd/windows install cd and restart the computer, you may need to press f12 to boot to cd...follow the insructions

Do you have the reinstall CD that came with it?
If so, you can back up all your data, put in that CD and tell it to do a clean install. It will format your hard drive, so everything on there will be erased and but back only the original programs that came on the computer.

I don't think I had to reinstall the cd last time but I will try that.
