So all this talk about BPA
The news and papers have been talking about the dangers of BPA and plastic bottles and how by early next year all BPA bottles will try to be taken off the shelves...
Should I register for glass bottles?...

Re: So all this talk about BPA
I agree - get the Born Free, they do not have BPA. And because they are plastic they will be less fragile than glass bottles.
They sell them at BRU.

Re: So all this talk about BPA
Originally we had Dr Brown's plastic bottles on the registry and then we switched to Dr. Brown's glass with all the controversy and talk about BPA.

Re: So all this talk about BPA
THIS week (my registry keeps changing ) I have evenflo glass bottles on my registry.
They have silicone nipples, so no plastic.
my theory is that we currently know BPA and pthalates are super bad... but in 10 years, it will be another couple chemicals in plastic.... so my theory is 'as little plastic as possible'
that also means Crouton's first solid food dishes will be ceramic, not plastic.

Re: So all this talk about BPA
I have used the Dr. Brown's bottles (and love them),but just switched to the glass and the Dr. Brown's BPA free bottles (for those times when we're out because I'm afraid if my dd drops the glass ones they will shatter all over the place!) So yes, definately register for the glass and some BPA free plastic ones.
