Communion Gifts
I am not sure what to give my nephew for his communion. I usually give bonds but I am not sure if it is worth it..
Anyone has any ideas...

How about Rosary beads or a children's bible? If I did that I might send a check as well. Or a crucifix for a child?

I just got my niece a precious moments communion figure and some webkins. This way she has something to play with too that is for her.

I gave my god daughter and my cousin american doll stuff. Jewlery is always nice. I think that for communion you can just get the kid something he really wants... video games or whatever. I am sure he already has a crucifix and IMO a bible is more of a confirmation gift and usually parents give a prayer book.

I have given all of my nieces and nephews a fruit tree for 1st Communion - I like the idea that it will grow with them.
...although you may want to check with the parents first
