Does your baby respond to you right away?
I try pushing on my stomach or bend over slightly but the baby never responds!! I do this all the time. The kicks are just so random , I cant get the baby to respond when I try.
What does everyone do?

So funny, I totally do the same thing!! The bending over thing works sometimes, but I spent all day yesterday trying to get the baby to respond and nada. Someone told me if the baby is facing backwards you won't feel the kicks. It is totally random for me.

Denise I am 26 weeks and I would say my baby didn't start responding until last week. Now it doesn't stop moving and it seems to have definite periods of movement throughout the day. It is so exciting...I was so anxious, too...and DH FINALLY felt the baby about a week and a half ago. :) Now he feels the baby move all the time! Good Luck!

my baby is soo temperamental i wouldn't say he/she responds right away, but i do tend to feel him/her more when i am crouched over at my desk or in a car wearing my seatbelt. oh and when i am eating

I'm 29 weeks. The one thing he almost always responds to is when I have my Ipod on and I put one of the earphones near my tummy. Works like a charm!

Re: Does your baby respond to you right away?
The baby moves more when I am still. She moves less when I am active. Yesterday, we sat a lot for Passover and she wouldnt stop. DH had a talk with her last night and asked her to move around enough to know she was there but not enough to cause discomfort. Pretty funny stuff!

Re: Does your baby respond to you right away?
My babies were stubborn and didn't like being poked by me so they wouldn't budge. If I wanted to get them to move I would drink juice or eat some candy. that usually did the trick.
