Is this too wacky for a shower?
So my mom hasn't started planning my shower yet and was asking where I would like to have it. Ideally I would love to have a BBQ outside, but we do not have any friends with any big houses, so that idea is out. My parents as well as ourselves live in apartments so having something there is also out.
I was thinking of having my shower at Dave & Busters because we want to have it with both guys and girls and because it seems like a fun place to do it, so there is something to do afterwards. I haven't called yet to ask about private party rooms or anything, but do u guys think that is too crazy?

great idea!! showers are getting to be so repetitive, like Ground Hog Day...the same thing over and over.
this would def make for a fun afternoon

Some D and B's have small private rooms too. So if the guys get bored, the women can stay and they can play games or watch TV or something. I think it is a great idea.

I think Dave & Buster's is a great idea! I'm planning my sister's shower and it will be at a chinese restaurant - now to me, that's unusual!

Re: Is this too wacky for a shower?
I think that could be fun..my only thing about D&B is that they give no discount on the game cards when you book a party. IMO, if you invite people there you need to give them play card for the games. As long as whoever is throwing the shower can afford that then that is fine. It is a pretty expensive place to throw a party. I looked into having my son's 2nd birthday there (all adults really).
