I think I made a hair mistake!!!

I chopped my hair yesterday - took about 5 inches off. Got a really nice layered cut. It looked freakin awesome when she blew it out. Today - not so much.

I need something to make my hair sleek when I blow it out - any suggestions? (I don't have time to flat-iron in the morning, so it has to be blown out every day) Also, I'm a spaz when I blow dry - what's the best way to make layers look nice? I'm so used to having one-length hair - this is all new to me!

Thanks!!!

I use an air brush. I can't handle a brush and hairdryer. It also dries faster for me.

Hey V.! I'm sure it looks awesome! Have you ever tried the Phyto products? I love Phytodéfrisant. It makes my hair so smooth!

I am no good at blowing out my hair. I have a layered cut also. What works for me is to just dry my hair as quickly as possible and to flat iron it. I don't try too hard on the blow dry/styling part. I let the iron heat up while I'm drying, and just pull the iron through a few times. It really makes the difference.

I bet you in a week you will love it. Layers take a few days to settle in just right. Other than that, I use a round brush and my cheapie hair dryer, but I have straight hair to begin with.
